If you have come here from Laurie Levnik's Blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Jena's Blog and start from the beginning!

This month we have 64 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. That's a lot of artwork! You are in for a treat! This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Ready to hop? Here we go!

My card is a 6" x 6" design from the Wishes Card Confidence program (p. 34 - Pieced Together).

Products used:

I stamped the cake in chocolate ink (how appropriate, right!), then stamped over it with VersaMark. I sprinkled on clear embossing powder and heated it with the craft gun to make it shiny. The cake "frosting" is Liquid Applique. Squeeze a little onto the image, then heat with the craft gun until it puffs up. Be careful not to overheat the Liquid Applique as it can scorch.

Now hop on over to Brae Montgomery's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the August SOTM is only available until August 31! Contact me (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

Good Times layouts

My scrapbooking weekend was so much fun, and I was productive, too! I used the WOTG layouts for Tinkerin' with different papers for an entirely new look! The papers are "Good Times." The colors really work with the colors in the pictures. The best part is the layouts are already designed using Imagine. Couldn't be easier!

I had to break out the HeartFelt Whimsy die-cuts again! The Buttercup stars and flowers go perfectly with the layouts.

Weekend Crop at Anita's

I always have a wonderful time when I am able to get together with my CTMH sisters for a weekend of scrapping and stamping fun! We met at Anita's house in Yorkville this month to get together before one of our unit members moved away to Florida. We had lots of good food (even going out to a Chinese buffet!) and LOTS of fun! The best part is we all got a lot accomplished, too!

Pam cranked out several pages.

Diana worked hard on her cards.

Anita organized and sorted while Mandi provided the comic relief (can you say "streshy paunts?).

Next month -- my house!

HeartFelt Whimsy

Sometimes I have such a great new scrapbooking product that I can't bring myself to use it until I find just the "right" pictures! I have been hanging on to CTMH's new HeartFelt Whimsy die-cuts, thinking from time to time, "I really should use those on something!"

My daughter and I were scrapping together last weekend, and she was working on some of her pictures from a trip to France 4 or 5 years ago. She went with her French class from the local Christian school. On the trip, she was a member of a drama team that performed a gospel presentation -- in mime! She was fiddling with these pictures and couldn't quite figure out what she wanted to do with them. The light bulb went on -- a-ha! -- and I realized I had JUST the thing! HeartFelt Whimsy! I knew the Tulip die-cuts would be perfect with the Silhouette Creative Basics papers.

The pages came together pretty easily. The title of the drama presentation was "King of Hearts," and what better to highlight that than beautiful felt hearts!

I used my Cricut to cut the title letters, using the Jasmine font (shadow). For the journaling, I used the stamp set "Comments." I used the back of a scrap piece of the printed paper from Silhouette and tore the bottom to make it look like note paper torn off. The paper clip is a stamp from the same set -- isn't it cute?

The challenge was how to attach the felt. After some trial and error, I ended up having the best success using Liquid Glass.

I'm happy with the way the pages turned out, and best of all, my daughter loves them! Now, off to find a way to use the other colors of the felt die cuts ...

You've Got Flair - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card
I used the colors from a recent Color Me Monday challenge from Jeanette Lynton's blog. I love the way the pinks and greens go together! The image was stamped using brown Staz-On ink, then select portions were cut out using a craft knife. The image was pop-dotted on the background piece. I love the effect!
